Had a really comfortable stay last time we were there. The location was fantastic, being close to restaurants and bars made it so convenient. 🍹

The room was wide with a view of the Indre, very bucolic and quiet river. Furnished with taste of the old. Very good breakfast, with cheeses and a very nice dining room, with tapestries and sunny with views of the river. Charming place. Free public parking in the vicinity, very practical.
It's a small hotel. The reception closes very early, when I arrived, at 8pm, the hotel was closed and as my mobile battery had run out, I had to ask a guy passing by to call the telephone number on the door. If it wasn't for him I couldn't get into the hotel. Apparently they had tried to reach me but as my mobile battery had run out they couldn't contact me. They gave me the famous "digicode" (the code that opens the doors automatically) and with it I accessed a small safe next to the door, inside there was an envelope with my name, the room key, etc. It was an adventure, with a happy ending. The room was comfortable and had beautiful antique furniture. The only bad thing was that I found that the last person who should have passed by the room, used the toilet and didn't flush, it was minor water, fortunately but I disliked it quite a lot.

Everything was really good, so were particularly nice views up to the castle atop the hill. Central heating, coffee/tea makers and a satellite TV inside the quadruple room were handy.

The location was amazing, close to the city center and main landmarks, and the standard double room we booked had a separate sitting area and a coffee machine.

The hotel's location was superb for visiting the chateaux of the Loire valley and, of course, Loches itself. The meals in the restaurant were of a good standard.
In parts the decor was a little tired and in need of refurbishment.

The location next to the river and the excellent food.

The hotel has a charming old boutique feel, and the views of the park behind are particularly nice. It is located in a stunning location near the center of Loches, Chateauroux, and the castle. Additionally, it is in the center of historic Loches.

The location is great, right in Loches on the river Indre. Has a lovely terrace restaurant overlooking the river
Very poor service. Hotel often closed during the day with note to phone a number and then the owners would come after about 5 mins and open up. Rooms need refubishing. Internet does not work in some of them. Had a reservation for 5 nights left after 1. Have stayed in the past and it was (and could be) a lovely small hotel.

The original beams and fireplace in the bedrooms, which have not been spoilt. The addition of the restaurant conservatory overlooking the river was a lovely outlook which allowed guests to take advantage of the view, particularly when the weather was cold.

The location - Loches is a very nice town to walk around
We informed hotel we had a small dog travelling with us, so we were allocated a room on the 2nd floor, to get to this floor we had to climb up a narrow stepped spiral staircase, which although rather quaint, was rather dangerous at the top when decending, I hate to think of a situation if there was a fire, and people had to be evacuated! We did ask for a lower positioned room as my wife was just recovering from a knee operation, and also it was inconvenient for us with the dog. But all rooms were booked up, the girl at reception spoke no english what so ever so communication was difficult with our limited french. I think people should be warned about the staircase as very old people would not be able to manage it. I loved the town of Loches and would return but certainly wouldn't stay at that hotel. With the lack of communication when we arrived, we decided to eat out elsewhere., And we departed before allocated breakfast time, so cannot comment on the food at hotel. The hotel was in a nice position and the parking at the side was ok, if you could find an empty parking space, which upon our arrival there weren't any, we specifically requested parking. (We have only just returned to uk from our holiday, hence late reply)

The hotel is fairly clean and charming, with lovely views over the park. The staff is great, and there is nearby parking. The location is particularly good and incredible, on the river during the morning breakfast, and it is near the town center and the Loire valley. The meals are appetizing, and I totally recommend this hotel when visiting Loches.
